SmartHouzz designs and renovates landed homes, condominiums, HDB and BTO flats, and offices. Our carpentry, electrical, plumbing and hacking teams are our own, so the people who plan your home are the ones who build it.

Scope: Full design and build

Stone and oak downstairs, carpet upstairs, and oak-toned joinery throughout. Most of the lighting is hidden in ceiling coves, under shelves and behind mirrors, so the rooms are lit without glare.

Living and dining

Kitchen and powder room

A waterfall island in veined stone with timber cabinetry along the full wall. The powder room is lined in stone from floor to ceiling, lit by a hidden strip of light.

Playroom

The owners collect model trains, so we hung a railway below the lit ceiling cove, added display shelving for the collection and a worktable facing the garden.

First conversation

Tell us about the place, who lives there and when you hope to move in. WhatsApp, a call or the form all work, and a floor plan helps if you have one.

Site visit

We come down to measure and photograph the space, and walk through what you want to keep, change and add.

Design

Layouts, materials, lighting and joinery, drawn up and refined with you until it feels right.

Quotation

An itemised quotation, trade by trade, so you can see where the budget goes before anything is signed.

Build

Our own carpenters, electricians, plumbers and masons on site, coordinated by one project lead you can call.

Handover

We walk through the finished home with you and close out every defect before you move in.

About us

Built-in timber bunks made in our workshop

SmartHouzz is a family-run interior design and build firm in Singapore. We design and renovate landed homes, condominiums, HDB and BTO flats, and offices.

We keep the trades in-house. Our own carpenters, electricians, plumbers and hacking crew do the work, so you deal with one team from the first site visit to handover, and what you approve on paper is what gets built.

Most of our clients come to us after seeing a home we have finished.

Questions

What kinds of homes do you work on?

Landed houses, condominiums, and HDB and BTO flats, from new keys or a resale flat to a full rebuild of a landed home.

Can you handle the whole renovation?

Yes. Design, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and masonry are done by our own team, with one person for you to call.

Can I engage you for furniture only?

Yes. Wardrobes, beds and built-ins can be a project on their own.

Do you do offices?

Yes. We fit out executive suites, meeting rooms, lounges and open-plan floors, including the furniture.

Can you renovate just one room, like a kitchen or bathroom?

Yes. We take on single rooms as well as whole homes, and the same team does the work either way.

How long does a renovation take?

It depends on the size of the place and how much is changing. You'll get a schedule along with your quotation, so you know the timeline before anything starts.
